The first ever single cask Madeira expression from the White Peak Distillery, bottled for the 2024 Nickolls & Perks outturn of own label spirits.. The White Peak Distillery operates in a 19th-century ex-Wire Works, now a UNESCO World Heritage site. Crafted solely from English barley and fermented using live yeast from a famed local brewery, their multi-award-winning whiskies are characterful, robust and lightly peated. The Madeira wine cask in which this release was matured spent its final months of maturation in the upper levels of the White Peak Distillery's warehouse, where the warmer conditions led to a fuller and more pronounced flavour profile.. Bottled at the natural cask strength without added colouring or chill filtration. Just 299 bottles were yielded in this single cask expression.
