Schneider 2021 Grauschiefer Riesling QbA dry, 75cL, 12.0% vol, Slate Minerality, Niederhäuser Steinwingert, RosenheckBy Winebuyers

This dry Riesling has a racy slate minerality. A classic Riesling, it is fruity, juicy, fresh and elegant. The Riesling grapes were harvested by hand in early October, after a very long period of vegetation. After a mashing time of approximately three hours, the grapes were gently pressed and partially fermented with natural yeast under temperature controlled conditions. The wine is made from grapes harvested from vineyard sites in Niederhäuser Steinwingert and Rosenheck, where the vines are around 15 years old and the soil is characterised by very large slate plates, which store heat well. This wine is suitable for both women and men.
