Product Description
A dense ruby red to crimson Limberg wine, with intense aromas of cassis, cherry, and blackberry, as well as notes of pepper and caramel. This rich red wine is both powerful and elegant. It is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Merlot (20%), Lemberger (20%), and Pinot Noir (10%). The wine is matured in barriques for 15 months and has a smooth finish. It is a perfect companion to braised or roasted meat. The wine is made from grapes grown on a special volcanic soil, known as Limburgit, which has a high ash content. The wine is aged in barrels for 2 years, giving it a complex flavor profile. It has an alcohol content of 13.5% vol. and a residual sugar of 1.0 g/l, with an acidity of 5.9 g/l. The wine is available in a 75cl size and is suitable for both men and women.
