NAUD VSOP Cognac, 70 cl

NUAD boast 10 cellars and 5,500 Limousin oak barrels, with a capacity of 350 to 400 litres, that allows it to create an array of spirits with varying profiles. This VSOP Cognac is no exception. Distilled using an eaux-de-vie matured at least four years, this expression is then bottled at 40% ABV using that classic NAUD design, with a traditional-distillation-equipment-inspired bottle. ###Product DescriptionThe gentle climate and the favourable exposition of the vineyards on the Charentais hillsides are ideal conditions to extract the whole potential from these grape varieties. Once produced, the wines, still on fine lees, undergo a double distillation in traditional small copper pot stills on open fires. This process brings aromatic richness and roundness to the NAUD Family Cognacs. When finally placed to mature in French oak casks, the eau-de-vie ages slowly, under the benevolence of the Cellar Master who decides of their final blending.Tasting NotesVery rich and woody, with yellow plum, dried figs and raisins. Crushed almonds and vanilla emerge. Some white grape and sweet cereals are also present, and are joined by a touch of black olive.
