This Meyer-Näkel 2017 Walporzheimer Kräuterberg Spätburgunder Grand Cru dry is a complex Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) with fruity aromas of blackberry, raspberry, and plum, as well as dark chocolate with hints of spicy herbs and liquorice. It has a well-balanced tannin structure and elegance, with excellent ageing potential. The wine originated from the Ahr valley, where the steep, terraced vineyards create a nearly Mediterranean microclimate, producing a powerful and rich bouquet.
