Redbreast Lustau Edition is a sublime, Sherried Irish single pot still whiskey. It's the result of a collaboration between Ireland's Midleton distillery and Bodegas Lustau in Jerez. The whiskey is made from a mash of malted and unmalted barley, triple distilled in copper pot stills and finished in first-fill oloroso Sherry butts for 12 months. This gives it a rich, fruity flavor. Serve neat or in an Old Fashioned with an orange twist. It opens with decadent dark fruits and marzipan-iced fruitcake, stuffed with raisins and dried figs, and laced with an earthy oloroso Sherry.
