HM Borges 20 Year Old Malvasia Madeira

75cl / 20% - H.M Borges was founded in 1877 by Henrique Menezes Borges and is now managed by the fourth generation of his family. To this day it is one of the smallest companies on the island. They still source all their grapes throughout the island and then vinify and mature the wines in Funhal in the traditional style. On the nose this is rancio 101, nuts, insense spice, black tea and burnt creme caramel. The palate is full of intensity with dried mango and papaya. A complex yet beautiful wine.
