English Heritage Traditional Mead - Small

Our carefully selected range of country wines is made in small batches with great care for English Heritage by the award winning Lyme Bay Winery. These country wines are inspired by traditional recipes and created using modern methods to ensure the characteristic flavour of the fruits, flowers and plants is retained. Traditional Mead is a sweet, deliciously full flavoured honey based wine. The mead is bright amber gold in colour and has aromas of rich honeycomb bursting through. Almost like a dessert wine in its presentation. The honey flavour is very natural and clean with a cider-esque mouth feel and balance of acid to flavour.  It is one of the oldest known alcoholic beverages dating back to Babylonian times. A great accompaniment to strong cheeses and full flavoured casseroles.
