Product Description

Drink it now or cellar for up to 2 years. No need to decant. The Bortolin Angelo family winery is located in Guia, on the hills of Valdobbiadene, in the heart of the Prosecco wine region. For over 50 years, the winery, now managed by Desiderio, the second generation of the family, has been producing excellent quality sparkling wines that express their territory of origin. As with all the company wines, this Prosecco is also produced with hand-harvested Glera grapes. After vinification, and the secondary fermentation in an autoclave (as for the Charmat method), the wine ages on the yeasts for 30-40 days. The Brut version has a low residual sugar to guarantee the full aromatic expression of the grape variety. The Prosecco Valdobbiadene Brut by Bortolin Angelo is a wine with a dry character and delicate aromas. It has a bright color with pale straw yellow tones and a fine perlage. The nose reveals fruity notes of pear, apple, and citrus. On the palate, it is dry and lean, with a velvety texture and a well-balanced vein of acidity. The finish is fresh and fruity. It is the ideal wine for an aperitif with fried appetizers and finger foods, but can also pair well with fish-based first courses.
