Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz is a unique flavoured gin made by steeping cool climate Shiraz grapes from the Yarra Valley in the distillery's Rare Dry expression for eight weeks. The gin is slightly sweetened by the ripe grapes and turns deep purple, but manages to retain its natural aromatic qualities. Unusually for a flavoured gin, it is bottled with no added sugar. This gin is perfect for making an eye-catching spritz by topping it with sparkling wine and a big squeeze of grapefruit, or mixed with bitter lemon in a cold glass full of ice. The deep berry nose has the tannins of red wine and a balsamic vinegar tang, with a sweet wine taste mixed with fresh strawberry and cooked apple on the palate.
