Distilled from molasses by Angostura in Trinidad. ### Product Description How life changes. Angostura Bitters were originally made by a surgeon, Dr Siegert, for his medical practice back in 1824. I doubt he had any inkling that the business would go on to change so radically- not only for the obvious reasons, but also the business would move from Venezuela to Trinidad some 50 years later.
