Kakira African Spiced Rum 37.5% 70cl

This premium rum hails from the shores of Lake Victoria, Uganda. The Kakira distillery was established in the 1930s and is now one of the most sustainable distilleries on the planet. They are carbon negative, grow their own crops, and regenerate the surrounding countryside (they have planted 2.5 million trees across their estate). To this day, it is still operated by the Madhvani family. The family also supports 13 primary and seven secondary schools as well as maintain a 75 bed hospital. It’s bold, fruity and spicy, infused with locally grown vanilla, as well as cardamom and clove. Add to your favourite cocktail or enjoy over ice.
