Product Description

The Sanrensei Junmai Daiginjo (Red) Watarifunerokugo is a junmai daiginjo sake that has been pasteurised only once. Made with Shiga Watarifunerokugo rice, it has a freshness typical of unpasteurised sake. The aroma is subtle, with notes of raspberry, wild strawberry, and red apple skin. The mouthfeel is rich, with flavours of mango, blood orange, rice flour, and cream. It has an astringent finish. This sake is best served chilled, at 8-12°C. It pairs well with a caprese salad, sashimi platter, or peas risotto. The brewery is Mifuku Brewery, located in Shiga prefecture. The sake is 17% ABV and has a rice polishing rate of 50%. It is made from wa ingredients.
