Danryu SHIP 30 is a 3-year old awamori aged in oak barrels blended with non-barrel aged and non-aged awamori. It has a whisky-like sweet aroma and a gentle sweetness with a lingering taste characteristic of rice. This awamori is highly recommended to drink as a highball and pairs well with rich and strongly flavored food. It can be served neat, on the rocks, or with soda water (2 parts soda to 1 awamori). Store in a dry and cool place, avoiding direct sunlight. Made by Kamimura Shuzo in Okinawa prefecture, Japan, this awamori is 30% ABV and made from water, rice, koji, and yeast.
