This is an extra-dry junmai daiginjo with an original kick. Its strong flavour spreads across the palate while leaving a sharp aftertaste, one of the hallmarks of Shuho Brewery's dry sake. The sake has charming aromas of pomelo, green pear, wild strawberry, osmanthus flowers and a hint of liquorice. It is a dry and cleansing sake yet with a smooth texture, some delicate fruity notes and a lasting spicy finish with sansho pepper. It pairs well with takowasa, green asparagus, and grilled poultry with herbs. Serve well chilled (4-8 °C) and store in a dry and cool place, avoiding direct sunlight. Made from Japanese rice, water, koji, and yeast, this sake is brewed by Shuho Sake Brewery in Yamagata prefecture.
