Ledaig 2005 / 17 Year Old / Sherry Cask / Signatory for The Whisky Exchange Island Whisky

70cl / 65.2% / Signatory - A 2005 Ledaig single malt, bottled exclusively for The Whisky Exchange by indie bottler Signatory Vintage in October 2022, that was made at Tobermory distillery and matured in a refill sherry butt for 17 years. The nose is filled with aromas of wood-smoked vanilla pods, rhubarb, green apples, caramel, pine and singed lime peel, followed on the palate by notes of seaweed, rock pools, sweet cocoa, limes, tar, dark chocolate, spices and smoke that linger in the finish.
