North British 1991 / 34 Year Old / Thompson Bros for The Whisky Exchange Single Whisky

70cl / 40.1% / Thompson Bros - A well-aged grain whisky from Edinburgh's North British distillery, bottled exclusively for The Whisky Exchange by the Thompson Brothers. While it's getting a lot more love than it once did, grain whisky still doesn't get the spotlight it deserves, and when the Thompson's asked if we wanted to bottle this 34-year-old whisky, we jumped at the chance. Its more than three decades of maturation have allowed it to develop a softly spicy and fruity complexity, the mark of great grain whisky.
