Midleton Silent Distillery 47 Year Old / Chapter Three

75cl / 55.7% - The Midleton Silent Distillery series honours the last casks that were filled by the stills of the Old Midleton Distiller, before it fell silent forever. The third chapter in this series is a 47-year-old Irish single malt whiskey, housed in a hand-crafter Waterford crystal decanter and presented in a bespoke elm burr cabinet from master craftsman John Galvin. Aromas of forest fruits, sticky cherries, toffee, almond, leather-bound books and pipe tobacco fill the nose.
