Gwyr Single Malt Welsh Whisky Cask Strength is a 4-year-old ex-bourbon cask matured single malt from Penderyn's pot stills. It has been finished in larger and smaller Môr-Ladron rum casks for 12 months and is bottled at the cask strength of 59.3%. The whisky has intense tropical fruit on the nose, with notes of pear and banana, and a definite influence of oak. The palate is more concentrated with ripe fruit salad esters, vanilla, and toasted bread. The finish is long and complex. This batch consists of 250 numbered bottles, making each one a unique and special find.
