A Highland Park whisky inspired by spring and summer on Orkney, the follow up to 2017's The Dark. It's a fresh and zesty take on the HP character, switching out the more traditional sherry casks for refill American oak casks and focusing on pear, vanilla and soft spice. ### Product Description It was Magnus Eunson who founded Highland Park, back in 1798. Much is made of his Viking heritage around the distillery and there is little doubt that, being based on Orkney some 16km north of the Scottish mainland, that the climate is certainly pretty wild being surrounded by stormy seas. Despite its remoteness though, the temperature is relatively steady across the year (rarely varying out of between 2 and 16 degrees) which is perfect for maturing whisky.
