La Roche Aux Fees 2017 / Version Française French Single Malt Whisky

70cl / 52.1% / La Maison du Whisky - La Roche Aux Fees distillery was founded by former brewers in 2015 and distils its peated barley in a mobile Coyac still from the 1950s. This whisky was matured in a sweet white wine cask and bottled as part of La Maison du Whisky's Version Francaise. It has aromas of charred orchard fruit, mixed herbs and hints of peat smoke on the nose, leading to notes of vanilla, anise, and cinnamon on the palate.
