Nose: Creamy toffee and buttery corn join breakfast cereals and meringue, whilst. earthiness sits alongside expressive waxed lemons.. Palate: Mouth coating with vibrant citrus and developing tropical fruits – preserved lemons and ripening mango. White pepper cask spicing gives way to milk chocolate, oats and buttered toast.. Alex's Tasting Note: Peach, ripe mango and butter on the nose with a malty biscuit thread running throughout. Smooth but very characterful in the mouth with toffee, citrus and cacao - there is an attractive lemony streak that delivers a real freshness. A drop or two of water softens the alcohol and lifts the aromas - a well crafted blend with complexity to intrigue the mind and tongue..
