This 12 year old Bunnahabhain single malt is lightly peated for an Islay whisky. It's a light, fresh dram with a nose of fresh, sweet, seaweed and malt. On the palate, it's soft and supple with a nutty sherried taste, a little sweetness, malty, juicy sultana notes. The finish is slightly coastal, with a sherried, mochaccino, herbal, balanced salty tang. Awarded gold in the Islay up to 12 years old category at The Scotch Whisky Masters in 2018 and 2019, and second place in the Best Single Malt Scotch 12 Years category at the International Whisky Competition in 2015. Suitable for both men and women.
