Powers Irish Rye Irish Rye Whiskey

70cl / 43.2% - This 100% Irish rye whiskey is the result of experimentation done at Midleton distillery in county Cork. Powers Irish Rye was designed by Irish Distillers’ archivist Carol Quinn, who dived into the company’s historical mash bills from the 19th and 20th centuries looking for inspiration. The rye for the expression was commissioned and specially grown at Cooney Furlong Farm in county Wexford. The whiskey has been matured in a mixture of virgin, first-fill and refill American oak casks.
