70cl / 56.3% - This striking single cask Midleton was drawn from a first-fill bourbon barrel that spent 25 years resting at the distillery in County Cork. A superb example of well-aged pot still whiskey, it shows notes of praline and milk chocolate with crunchy toffee apples and citrus. Subtle tannins provide structure and balance as well as warm hints of black pepper, cardamom and aged tea leaves.
