Glenmorangie whisky was born from a deep connection to the peaceful land of Ross-shire in the Scottish Highlands. The name 'Glenmorangie' comes from Gaelic, meaning 'valley of tranquillity', reflecting its serene origins. Founded in 1843 by William Matheson and his wife, Anne, the distillery started small, selling whisky for just a few shillings per gallon. Over nearly two centuries, Glenmorangie has evolved into one of the most renowned Scotch whisky producers, known for its innovative approach and its unique distillation process that uses the tallest stills in Scotland. This has an additional two years ageing compared to Glenmorangie's flagship Original 10 Year Single Malt, resulting in more rich and complex flavours of orange, honey, vanilla and peach. The whisky’s smooth, fruity notes will complement savoury dishes like roast chicken, or enhance sweet, creamy desserts.
