Tamdhu 15 Year Old is a rich and fruity single malt whisky from the Speyside distillery. Despite its reputation as a traditional spirit, Scotch whisky offers incredible diversity of flavour, with single malts and blends ranging from elegant, floral expressions to rich, fruity and chocolatey drams. This limited edition 15-year-old is matured fully in ex-oloroso Sherry casks made from American and European oak, resulting in a rich and fruity whisky with a lasting finish. The nose is syrupy and sweet, but still fresh with apple blossom, orange zest and dried pineapple. On the palate the fruitiness bursts to life with more juicy pineapple, apricots and raspberry coulis, with a spiced yet creamy caramel and gingerbread. It's a delicious whisky that can be enjoyed neat or in an Old Fashioned (stir 50ml with three dashes of Angostura bitters over ice, strain into a rocks glass and garnish with orange zest).
