Saint-Jacques de Siran, Grand Vin de Bordeaux 2016 is a 75cl red wine from Château Siran, owned by the same family since 1859. Edouard Miailhe is the fifth generation, and took over the family business in 2007. The wine is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, originating from the border of Margaux, therefore classified as Bordeaux Superieur. The river Garonnes alluvial flow has layered the gravelly soil with deposits of clay, creating a perfect combination for producing quality wines. This family-owned Château strives to produce powerful and fine wines with exceptional terroir and a perfect balance between tannins, fruit and acidity. The complex terroir yields well-structured and rich wines.
