Product Description
Founded in 1999 by Alain Grignon, LGI Wines is a cooperative of winemakers from the south of France, sourcing grapes from Languedoc and Gascony. Their winemaker, Frederic Garrabou, comes from the small village of Limoux, and his father and both his grandfathers were vine growers. The cultivation of vines has always captivated him, as he believes that the finest wines are crafted in the vineyard. The grapes are harvested early in the season and aged for four months on its fine lees with regular stirring before bottling, adding complexity to the wine. This is bright with aromas of citrus and green apple with subtle floral notes. On the palate, it's crisp and refreshing, with a zesty minerality and a clean finish. A fabulous pairing for light seafood dishes like grilled prawns, fresh salads, or a simple goat cheese tart.
