Domaine Billard Père et Fils Coteaux Bourguignons Rouge 'La Boule de Billard' 2023 is a super bright, juicy and zippy red Burgundy. It's loaded with red fruit: raspberry, cranberry and cherries. The palate is full of similar red fruits, a touch of pink peppercorn spice and electric acidity. This wine is very drinkable and pairs well with roast chicken on a Sunday or a good charcuterie board. It's also suitable for a summer barbecue party, served slightly chilled. Domaine Billard Père et Fils has been a family domain for four generations, based in La Rochepot in Hautes Côtes de Beaune. The winemaker, Jérôme Billard, has been at the helm since 1999 and is training his son Louis Billard in the family's know-how.
