Reh Kendermann, founded in 1920, is a family-owned German winery known for blending tradition with modern winemaking techniques. Now run by Carl Reh, the grandson of the founder, the winery is based in the renowned Rheinhessen region. This area’s warm and sunny climate, combined with diverse soils, allows grapes to ripen fully, making it ideal for producing wines with balanced acidity and natural sweetness. The 2023 Riesling Spätlese is a late-harvest wine, showcasing rich and concentrated flavours as a result. Produced using stainless-steel fermentation, this Riesling retains its fresh and vibrant character. Expect fruity notes of peach and citrus, with a hint of wild honey. It has a full yet elegant body, balanced by a bright acidity. It pairs beautifully with spicy Asian dishes, light salad, and a variety of fish due to its ripe flavours and freshness.
