Definition by Majestic Cabernet Sauvignon 2021, Simonsberg-Stellenbosch

The Definition range brings the world's greatest wine styles to Majestic customers. And when we were looking for a classic South African Cabernet Sauvignon to add to the Definition range, we knew it had to be from the world-renowned Stellenbosch region – and from family-owned Kanonkop. Run by brothers Paul and Johann Krige, the fourth-generation estate has a site-specific approach to winemaking that ensures the character of each vintage is captured. Matured for a year in French oak barrels, this wine’s fresh juicy blackcurrant, black plum and black cherry profile is underlined with subtle spice flavours. It’s sturdy enough to stand up to steak, slow-cooked venison or braised beef short ribs, as well as mature cheddar cheese.
