Champagne Esterlin Eclat Blanc de Blancs

Drink it now or cellar for up to 15 years. No need to decant. Founded in 1948 in the Mancy Valley, in the Champagne wine region, Maison Esterlin is a prestigious and award-winning cooperative winery that today has approximately 400 members. Their vineyards extend over 200 hectares, spread between the southern area of ​​Epernay and the Marne Valley. They produce a wide range of vintage and non-vintage wines. The latter benefit from the addition of a reserve wine obtained from a Solera, begun in 1972, which adds density and richness to the wines. Champagne Esterlin Eclat Blanc de Blancs is a delicate and elegant wine, produced with 100% Chardonnay grapes from vineyards located in the Côteaux Sud d’Epernay, in the Mancy Valley, and the Côteaux de Sézanne, in the Marne Valley. Vinification occurs without malolactic fermentation, and the finished wine ages for approximately six years on the lees before disgorgement. In the glass, the wine reveals a clear, brilliant yellow color with golden highlights and a fresh, fragrant aromatic profile with initial notes of citrus and white fruit, followed by hints of hazelnut and mineral touches. On the palate, it is generous and round, with a pleasant, refreshing citrus acidity and a long, mineral finish. It is excellent with seafood, but also has the right structure to pair well with veal escalopes and salmon.
