Chosen By Majestic Chianti DOCG 2023/24

We sent our award-winning buying team all around the world on an exciting mission: to curate a new collection showcasing the best examples of key regions, styles and grape varieties – at great prices. And since Chianti is one of the undisputed icons of Italian wine, we just had to add one to the range. To make it, we went to a producer whose roots in the region date back to 1882. They’ve blended the best Sangiovese grapes with small portions of Ciliegiolo and Canaiolo to create a smooth, complex wine with intense red-fruit flavours and aromatic notes of herbs. Its soft tannins and silky texture make it wonderfully food-friendly – enjoy it with classic Italian dishes like pizza, shared with good company.
