Dönnhoff Höllenpfad im Mühlenberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs 2022 Magnum is the ultimate expression of Nahe Riesling. This wine is from a two-hectare parcel with 50+ year old vines. It's rich and intense with a bouquet of ripe orchard fruits and finely crushed stones. The wine has a wonderful structure, very powerful and long with a fine mineral core. Notes of vineyard peach and apple, summer chamomile, lime sherbet and lemon curd are present, with blinding freshness softened by a generous palate. It's intense, complex and vibrant, and surprisingly open in its youth.
