Frescobaldi Terre More Maremma Toscana DOC 2023/24, Italy

If you like Bordeaux blends, give this bold Italian red a try. Based in the rolling sun-kissed hills of Tuscany, Frescobaldi has been making wine since the early 1300s. They have a variety of different estates across Tuscany, each one celebrated for its unique diversity. Terre More is made with 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and small amounts of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Syrah. It’s bursting with red and black fruits and spices like pepper, nutmeg, and anise, with a sprinkling of Mediterranean herbs. Delicious with tomato-based pasta and hard cheeses.
