Dom. Comte Georges de Vogue's Chambolle Musigny Premier Cru is a wine from the Chambolle Musigny region, produced by Winebuyers. Originally dating back to 1450, the estate was acquired by the de Vogue family in 1766. Comte Georges de Vogue took over in 1925 and led the estate into fame in the following decades. The current generation of winemaker and vignerons have the estate in top form, universally considered one of the great estates of Burgundy. The name of the Comte de Vogue became synonymous with that of Chambolle-Musigny, perhaps because they hold 7.25ha of the total 10.7ha of Le Musigny itself, and 2.75ha of Bonnes-Mares with a further 1.8ha of Premier Cru. Comte Georges de Vogue's Chambolle premier cru is made from declassified juice from young (under 25-year-old) vines in the Musigny grand cru vineyard. The domaine calls it 'Musigny in short trousers.' This wine is a 75cl red wine, suitable for both men and women.
