Product Description

Domaine de la Janasse, CDP Vieilles Vignes, Chateauneuf du Pape, 2010 is a 75cl red wine. The producer, Domaine de la Janasse, was founded by Aime Sabon in 1973 and is now run by his children, Isabelle and Christophe. The domaine has 18 hectares under vine in the commune of Courtezon, with a substantial portion in the prestigious 'La Crau' lieu-dit. The vineyards are currently under conversion to organic farming, with certification expected in 2024. The wines of Janasse are known for their richness and depth, with a fine tannic structure and finely textured wines that develop finesse in the bottle. This particular wine is a blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre. 1.5 hectares of the domaine's vineyards are dedicated to 60-year-old white varieties, mostly Grenache Blanc.
