Elegant, fresh, and from an organically certified single vineyard, this is a top quality Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley. Domaine Laporte is a family-owned estate established in the 1850s in the heart of Loire Valley appellation Sancerre. Today it’s led by winemaker Cédric Bourgeois, who works with the estate’s 21 hectares of vineyards planted on the region’s most emblematic soils: Kimmeridgian limestone, clay-limestone and flint (silex). Certified organic and with a deep respect for sustainability and terroir expression, each vineyard parcel is managed individually in order to highlight its “geological identity.” Expect flavours of citrus, green apple, orange zest, and a mineral streak. Perfect as a refreshing apéritif or with seafood and white meat.
