Made from grapes grown in the Kieselberg vineyard, situated on the western brim of Deidesheim, with a south-facing slope towards Leinhöhle. The soil is eroded sandstone, small sandstone gravel, and loam. Harvested selectively at the end of September, the grapes were pressed gently and fermented 50% in traditional oak and 40% in stainless steel.
