Founded in 1834 by Antoine Jaboulet, the domaine has expanded over the years to include vineyards in the Crozes-Hermitage appellation, including Domaine de Thalabert. After a period of decline, the company was sold to Jean-Jacques in 2005, who implemented organic and biodynamic principles in the vineyards. La Chapelle is now back in wondrous form and is once again a wine of great beauty and power. This wine is suitable for both men and women.
