Corbières is a prestigious wine appellation in Languedoc-Roussillon, southern France. Nestled between the Mediterranean Sea and the Pyrenees, the region boasts a diverse terroir, with limestone, schist, and clay soils that contribute to the complexity of its wines. The climate is characterized by hot, dry summers, mild winters, and strong wind, which helps keep the vineyards healthy by reducing humidity and disease. Corbières is best known for its red wines, which account for around 90% of production. These wines are typically blends of Carignan, Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, producing rich, full-bodied flavors with notes of dark berries, spice, and garrigue—the wild herbs that grow throughout the landscape. Although red wines dominate, the region also produces high-quality rosés and whites. With a winemaking history dating back to the Romans, Corbières remains one of France’s most dynamic and diverse wine regions. This bold red is full of red berry aromas like morello cherries and blackcurrant. It's a silky wine with elegant fruity notes and discreet tannins to preserve the delicacy of this cuvée.
