A blend of Vermentino, Roussanne, Grenache and Viognier, this white wine from Château Paul Mas is made from fruit picked from the Belluguette vineyard. Planted on limey, gravelly soil and cooled by daily sea breezes, Belluguette is the perfect location for production of white Mediterranean varieties, achieving depth of flavour and crisp acidity. The wine has a creamy palate that reveals complex flavours of tropical fruits such as mango and pineapple with vanilla notes, brioche and toast lingering on the finish. It is an unctuous, full-bodied white wine. Every vintage I try this wine, I'm impressed by the value for money it offers. If you like textured, unctuous whites, give this a try.
