This rare, complex and multi-layered dessert wine is made from Hanepoot grapes grown on timeworn, gnarly vines over 120 years old. The small bunches of concentrated and perfumed Muscat d'Alexandrie fruit are hand harvested and the juice fortified with a pure spirit. The wine exudes aromas of honey, orange blossom and fruitcake, with intense flavours of sultanas, ripe candied citrus peel and sweet mandarins. It is a sweet dessert wine from South Africa, suitable for both men and women.
