Fekete Pince Somloi Cuvee 2022 is a beautiful, pure straw yellow wine from Somlo, Hungary. It's a blend of 50% Welschriesling, 30% Hárslevelû, and 20% Jufark grapes. The wine has a friendly, full, ripe apricot and yellow apple flavor with slightly spicy, buttery, and almost popcorn notes. It's complex, with different flavors coming to the fore with each sip. Only 641 bottles were made. After careful hand harvesting, the grapes were soaked for 4 hours and fermented in 1000l Hungarian oak barrels, separated by variety. Each ingredient was matured for 10 months in 500l used oak barrels and then aged together in tanks for another 10 months. This wine is suitable for both women and men to enjoy.
