Seña is a joint venture between Eduardo Chadwick and Robert Mondavi, established in the late 1990s, with the aim to make Chile's finest red wine. The vineyard is biodynamically farmed, with soils rich in loam, clay-loam structure, and gravel and volcanic rocks. The blend varies with the vintage but is usually dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, with smaller parts of Malbec, Carmenere, and Cabernet Franc. Seña matures for 22 months in 80% new French oak, resulting in a dense and powerful wine with ripe, firm tannins, and great complexity. This 2019 Seña release is from the Seña Winery, available in a 75cl size, suitable for both men and women.
