The estate's 300 hectares of vines are spread across three estate vineyards at altitudes between 850 and 1350 metres. Stephen Huse, the owner and winemaker, trained in oenology at the University of Bordeaux and has worked at renowned wineries such as Châteaux Margaux, Mouton-Rothschild, Harlan Estate, Merryvale Vineyards, and Almaviva. The single vineyard Estate Malbec is sourced from selected blocks within the estate's vineyard in the Gualtallary appellation of the Valle de Uco, at an altitude of 1350m. It presents an opaque inky purple core with reflections of carbon. The nose is smoky and saturated with black fruit; cassis and dark cherries. On the palate, opulent flavours of blueberry and blackberry are complemented by notes of roasted coffee and cinnamon.
