Product Description
Chateau La Sable White, a white wine from the Luberon region of Provence, is a blend of Rolle, Marsanne, and Roussanne grapes. The vines are located in Cadenet, within the Luberon Natural Park, at an altitude of 280 to 350 meters. The soil is fresh and made of clay, on terraces well windswept and facing north-west. The wine is made using a traditional method, with hand-harvesting, hand selection of the grapes, and light pressing of whole bunches. Alcoholic fermentation takes place for about 2 weeks at low temperature to protect flavours. The wine is then aged in stainless steel tanks on fine lees. It has a limpid, brilliant and crystalline, pale yellow colour with silver highlights. The nose is expressive, revealing intense aromas of peach and citrus, enhanced by delicate floral notes. On the palate, the wine is well-balanced, with a full, fleshy attack that evolves towards greater freshness and length.
