The 2017 Brunello di Montalcino exhibits crunchy red fruits, an elegant, balsamic freshness, typical of Biondi-Santi, and a structure of impeccable balance. The wine is aged in Slavonian oak barrels for 36 months before bottling. This wine is suitable for both young and mature palates, with a depth and character that is characteristic of Biondi-Santi. The hand-harvested grapes underwent a five-step selection process, and fermentation took place with indigenous yeasts in cement tanks and vertical oak vats, at controlled temperatures.
