Fonseca ‘Quinta do Panascal’ Vintage Port 2008

Founded in 1815, Fonseca has a centuries-old reputation for decadent vintage Port. Sourced from their flagship estate, the Quinta do Panascal bottlings are famed for their distinctive character and vibrancy. Crafted using sustainably grown fruit, grapes are foot-trodden in traditional cement tanks and then aged in oak barrels. This 2008 vintage is a pure expression of the estate's slopey, riverside terroir, with opulent notes of cassis, black cherry, dark chocolate and sandalwood.
